Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-11:30am Provide safe, compassionate patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse under the direction of a healthcare provider and Registered Nurse. In this role, you will support the nursing process by monitoring patients, observing and reporting changes, and contributing to individualized care plans. You will perform nursing duties within your LPN scope of practice while promoting patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Support providers and clinical teams by preparing patients for exams, treatments, and minor procedures, including obtaining vital signs and assisting with in-clinic workflows. Perform clinical tasks within scope such as administering medications and vaccines, collecting lab specimens, drawing blood, placing urinary catheters, and supporting specialty services (e.g., EKGs and cardiac testing support in cardiology settings). Deliver patient education using evidence-based methods and ensure high-quality, timely care. Coordinate referrals, lab orders, and follow-up care to support continuity of care. Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation, complete required forms with appropriate coding, and manage tracking systems for ongoing patient monitoring and test follow-up. Stay engaged in clinic operations through meetings, communications, and organizational updates. Maintain compliance with OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and organizational policies while demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, reliable attendance, and a strong commitment to patient experience and quality improvement.Qualifications Education:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program required.Experience:
One (1) year of previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred. License(s)/Certification(s): Valid LPN license in the state(s) of practice, including eligibility under an NLC multistate license required. Iowa Board of Nursing (IABON) Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WIDSPS) Dual licensed positions: Team members are required to obtain and submit proof of dual licensure within 90 days of hire/transfer. Proof of application is acceptable during this period. Certified Basic Life Support (BCLS) through the American Heart Association required. IA Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care required. IL Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care required.
