Summary of Responsibilities The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a key role at Headwaters Behavioral Health's Adolescent Residential Treatment Facility, providing compassionate, trauma-informed nursing care for youth experiencing significant emotional and behavioral challenges. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the LPN supports psychiatric stabilization, safety, and overall well-being. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring residents' physical and behavioral health, documenting observations, implementing care plans, responding to emergent medical or behavioral needs, and communicating effectively with the care team. Success in this role requires compassion, strong clinical and observational skills, critical thinking, and effective communication. LPNs have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting adolescents on their path to healing and recovery in a collaborative, state-of-the-art treatment environment. Qualifications Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Idaho or hold a compact state license. Two (2) years of nursing experience in psychiatric setting required. Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR. Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order to get to and from work in various weather conditions to ensure reliability.
