As a rhinologist's clinic, we are constantly striving to be a medical practice where people work together to do the right thing every day to improve the health of those we serve. Responsibilities
  • Takes patient histories and documents them in the patient's electronic medical record
  • Assists physician in exam rooms and with procedures
  • Provides instructions and information to the patient per physician's instructions
  • Collects health information from the patient to prepare for scheduling surgeries
  • Provides surgery instructions and information to the patient
  • Scribes for the physician in the exam rooms
  • Ensures all related reports, labs, and results are electronically uploaded to the patients' medical record
  • Appropriately manages and triages patient telephone calls
  • Calls patients with test results
  • Reviews Charts
  • Manages and maintains endoscopy equipment and instruments
  • Assists with cleaning and maintaining exam rooms between patients and at the end of the day
  • Performing medication and product prior authorizations
  • Preparing patients' FMLA and short-term disability paperwork Prior Authorizations Required Knowledge
  • Medical Terminology a must
  • Grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Knowledge of EHR's
  • ENT a plus Skills
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
  • Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Time Management and prioritization
  • Willingness to learn
  • Scribing abilities, a plus Education
  • LPN license Employee Status
  • Non-exempt
Part Time:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Pay:
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour
