LPN needed for Pediatric Home Care in (NW Meridian)
Job Description
Friday 3p-11p Saturday 3p-11p LPNs-$32 Pediatric Private Duty Nursing - LPN Terrace Home Health is looking for kind and compassionate nurses to work with a medically fragile pediatric client in their home. Private Duty Nurses provide care for children with medical needs, which may include: Ø Trach care, oral/tracheal suctioning, oxygen administration, CPT, nebulizer treatments, airway maintenance, oxygen saturation monitoring, etc. Ø Seizure interventions: Medication protocol, VNS, etc. Ø Catheterization, catheter care, colostomy care, bowel programs, toileting assistance, etc. Ø G-Tube feeds, G-Tube medications, G-Tube maintenance, etc. Ø
Therapies:
Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, vision therapy, etc. Ø Central Line / PICC Line maintenance, medication administration, TPN administration, etc. Ø
Medication Administration:
Oral, inhaled, G-tube, rectal, topical, IV, injection, etc. Benefits of pediatric Private Duty Nursing for families of medically fragile children:
• Those who have chronic or acute illnesses and have Private Duty Nursing at home make fewer trips to the hospital, and the duration of these visits are shorter.
• The nurses who provide this type of care also provide parents and caregivers with much-needed support and respite.
Pay:
$32.00 - $41.00 per hour
