Job Description
Overview We are looking to hire 3 nurses (LPN or RN) for a 4-6 week contract at a skilled nursing facility in the Nampa, Idaho area. 12 hour day and night shifts available 6am-6pm and NOC shift 6pm-6am- urgently hiring for a start date of mid August We also have other shifts available in the Boise area after the contract ends. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your clinical expertise, provide exceptional patient care, and contribute to a compassionate healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute and long-term care settings, with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care (PCC) for patient charting. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using PCC charting systems Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform aseptic techniques following established protocols to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with best practices in geriatrics Conduct patient education on medication management, pain control strategies, and post-discharge instructions in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Current Idaho LPN or RN license Current CPR certification Ability to pass drug screen and health and welfare background check Experience working in post-acute care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities preferred Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics and memory care patients
