Our Locations:

Ringwood home is situated on a gorgeous 3-acre lot in a beautiful rural setting with 9 residents. The dining room looks out onto a huge screened-in-porch leading to a spectacular backyard. Our three separate living areas provide plenty of room for conversation, game playing, and other activities as well as small nooks for quieter moments to read or listen to music. Our Lake in the Hills home is situated on 2.5 acres in a cozy neighborhood and is home to 18 residents. The spacious home has an open floor plan with large great room, kitchen, exercises room, library, porch and even a salon! Walking paths surround the community and a large gazebo for residents to enjoy overlooking the garden.

Shift Details:

Part Time -Lake in the Hills 2pm-10pm Monday, Tuesday and every other weekend

Nurse Job Responsibilities:

Ensure residents receive medications/treatments as prescribed by their physician while maintaining security and accountability for medications Inventory controlled substances and provide accurate reconciliation of the inventory. Count controlled substances with another associate each time responsibility of medication administration changes Review of medication administration record for errors at the completion of each medication pass. Assurance that care and services related to medication administration are provided in a safe and secure manner and follow state licensure rules. Responsibility for medication reorders, including PRN medications. Faxing of written or faxed orders from doctors to pharmacies. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting Effectively interact with residents with dementia Participate in resident activities Incorporate opportunities to create small, but memorable, experiences for residents Provide personal care to activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, and maintaining the personal environment (i.e., clothing, linen, personal belongings) Regularly review, follow and adhere to the residents' care plans Prepare and serve meals to Residents Gather, wash and distribute Resident laundry Attend in-service training Observe community policies and procedures regarding attendance, timeliness, house rules, teamwork, customer service and other policies/ procedures that may be introduced from time to time Adhere to Universal Precautions and Infection Control procedures Other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old Must have required health screening, TB clearance, and criminal record clearance This position requires the applicant to be a Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) with an unencumbered license to practice nursing within the state of application Must possess valid First Aid and CPR Certification' '
