Hours Days Shift Details:

8.00 AM to 4.30 PM 40 hours/week. (5

• 8) 13-week contract Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and catheterizations, following established protocols and safety guidelines. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, processing, and basic medical imaging procedures. Provide wound care, including dressing changes and sterile technique adherence for procedures like suturing and catheter care. Support patients with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities by delivering specialized memory care and behavioral health support. Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions while monitoring patient responses during emergency or urgent care situations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including primary care clinics, long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU and trauma centers), hospice environments, and community clinics to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies while documenting all patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems. Experience Proven experience working as an LPN in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU, emergency room, Level I/II trauma centers), skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home & community care settings. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient management. Extensive background in critical care areas including ICU, emergency medicine, or trauma units; experience with ventilators and advanced airway management is highly desirable. Familiarity with specialized fields such as geriatrics, palliative/hospice care, infectious disease management, pediatric nursing (including neonatal ventilator use), or behavioral health is preferred. Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate medical documentation and billing processes. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or complex chronic conditions such as dementia or long-term illnesses enhances your suitability for this role. Strong understanding of nursing principles including physiology knowledge, medication administration protocols, specimen collection techniques like venipuncture and phlebotomy, and infection control practices.
