Licensed Practical Nurse (83257) Vandalia Correctional Center - Vandalia, IL 62471 Apply Overview Position Type Full-Time Job Shift Evening Education Level High School Diploma/GED Category Nursing Professional & Support Apply Description Hourly rate of $36.23+/hour. We offer a $4 shift differential for evenings and $3 shift differential for nights. Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full- time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Vandalia Correctional Center in Vandalia, Illinois.
Shift:
Evening Shift 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. The schedule includes rotating weekends. When Saturday and Sunday are worked, the following Tuesday is scheduled off. When Saturday and Sunday are off, the following Friday is scheduled off. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
