Job Summary Lane House is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, including experience in trauma centers, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and various specialized care settings. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient assessments, administering treatments, and ensuring compliance with health regulations while fostering a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff alike. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology evaluations, and medical history reviews to inform individualized care plans. Administer medications, injections, IV therapies, and other treatments following established protocols and safety standards. Operate medical equipment such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and other clinical tools efficiently. Provide emergency response care in acute situations such as trauma or medical emergencies, ensuring rapid intervention aligned with hospital medicine and emergency medicine best practices. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities within medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes across inpatient, outpatient, post-acute, or clinic settings. Ensure compliance with all health regulations, nursing policies, State Board of Nursing standards, and safety procedures such as manual handling and infection control protocols. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the State Board of Nursing. Proven experience in trauma centers (Level I or Level II), emergency rooms, hospital medicine, or similar acute care environments. Demonstrated proficiency in medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics including PICU experience, geriatrics, or outpatient clinic settings. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, medication administration techniques including venipuncture and injection skills. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation and patient record management. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, AED operation, and IV insertion preferred. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines while communicating effectively with patients' families or guardians. Knowledge of health regulations compliance and nursing policy adherence to ensure safe practice standards are met consistently.
