This role involves direct clinical care, documentation, communication with interdisciplinary teams, and supervision of nursing staff. Essential Responsibilities Perform daily rounds and assessments on assigned residents. Monitor and ensure delivery of high-quality resident care. Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation. Communicate changes in condition to residents, families, and healthcare providers. Assist in developing and updating resident care plans. Support and train nursing staff, including new and temporary employees. Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA, infection control, and emergency protocols. Participate in quality assurance and state survey processes. Supervisory Duties Direct supervision of nursing staff and indirect supervision of all staff involved in resident care. Involved in hiring, training, performance management, and staff scheduling. What We're Looking For Strong clinical and assessment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to supervise, lead, and mentor nursing staff Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform other duties as required Commitment to resident dignity and quality of life
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited nursing program. 1+ year of nursing experience preferred . Licensure Must hold a valid LPN License in the state of employment.
