Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse provides safe, efficient patient care to assigned patients; is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing professional nursing care on an intermittent basis in the patient's place of residence. Care is performed in accordance to professional standards, state regulations, physician orders, plan of care, and in keeping with the health center mission.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program Minimum Experience Minimum of one-year experience in nursing, preferred Required Registration/License/Certification Current Kansas LPN license Intravenous (IV) certification preferred Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
