Job Responsibilities:

Performs resident reviews on admission, monitors the health status on a continuing basis, and documents all findings in the electronic clinical recordUpdates the care plan with change in resident status and communicates changes to licensed and direct care staffAdministers and documents medication, treatment, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and the resident plan of careResponds to and documents resident and family concerns and actions takenRoutinely performs rounds to verify residents are in a safe and comfortable environment and receiving planned careAssists in and provides assistance with activities of daily living of the residentsSupervises, assigns and assists in the nursing activities of the direct care staff

Job Requirements:

Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing in the state in which the facility is locatedCurrent CPR certification or willingness to obtainStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize and make sound nursing decisions within scope of practiceInterest in working with geriatric patientsPossess leadership skillsBasic computer skills #INDNURSE
