Position Type:

LPN or RN About the Position We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for an overnight private-duty home care case in Olathe, KS . The client is a 36-year-old male with overnight 11:30pm - 7:30am shifts available . This position requires a nurse who can provide attentive overnight supervision, recognize changes in the client's condition, and respond appropriately if seizure activity occurs. The home is clean and well maintained. The client's parents will be present in the home overnight but will be sleeping, so the assigned nurse will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the client throughout the shift. Responsibilities Provide continuous overnight supervision and monitoring Observe for and appropriately respond to seizure activity Maintain a safe environment for the client throughout the night Follow the client's established plan of care and nursing instructions Monitor and document the client's condition and any significant events during the shift Communicate changes in condition or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or care team Provide compassionate, respectful, and professional one-on-one care Follow agency policies, infection-control practices, and safety procedures Complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time Qualifications Current Kansas LPN or RN license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification Ability to work overnight shifts in Olathe, KS Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a private home Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the overnight shift Strong observation and emergency-response skills Dependable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to complete all required background checks and employment requirements Join our team as an Overnight LPN/RN - Private Duty Home Care and provide exceptional nursing support that empowers patients to age comfortably at home while enjoying the stability of a supportive healthcare environment!
