How you'll contribute The LPN provides nursing care to patients under the direction and supervision of a RN Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner. Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation). Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs). Assesses learning needs and delivers age-/culture-appropriate patient and family education. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Participates in unit and organizational performance improvement and required continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call. Performs other duties as assigned. What we're looking for
- LPN license required Basic Life Support certification is required or within 1 week of hire.
- ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. Handle With Care (HWC) preferred
- One year of experience preferred
