Director of Nursing About Aura Recovery Center Aura Recovery Center is a state-of-the-art, luxury detox facility located in Kentucky, providing medically supervised detoxification services in a highly structured, supportive, and professional environment. Our program combines clinical excellence with comfort, dignity, and individualized care at one of the most critical stages of a client's recovery journey. About the Role This role provides direct nursing care within a medically supervised detox program during assigned 12-hour shifts. This role is responsible for medication administration, client monitoring, clinical documentation, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team. Aura Recovery Center maintains 24/7 program coverage through scheduled staffing, and this position is not expected to provide continuous or on-call coverage outside of assigned shifts. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care during scheduled 12-hour shifts Monitor clients for withdrawal symptoms and changes in medical status Administer medications in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols Perform and document nursing assessments and clinical observations Respond to medical concerns and emergencies during assigned shifts Participate in client admissions, assessments, and discharge coordination as needed Collaborate with providers, behavioral health staff, and operations leadership Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation Follow all safety, infection control, and medication management policies Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and facility standards Schedule & Coverage Model Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, or holidays based on staffing needs 24/7 coverage is maintained through team-based scheduling Additional shifts may be available on a voluntary basis Required Qualifications Active Nursing license in the state of Kentucky Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Ability to work independently within assigned scope of practice CPR certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire) Preferred Qualifications Experience in detox, substance use disorder, or behavioral health settings Familiarity with withdrawal management and MAT protocols IV certification, if applicable to scope What We Offer
