Route Driver - Portable Restrooms & Garbage Collection Blue Moon Sanitation Full-Time | $17.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience Blue Moon Sanitation is a local, family-owned and operated company looking for a dependable, hardworking Route Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on, physically active position that includes servicing and delivering portable restrooms and completing residential and/or commercial garbage routes. If you enjoy working independently, being outdoors, and staying active throughout the day, this may be a great fit. What You'll Do Drive assigned routes safely and efficiently. Deliver, pick up, move, clean, and service portable restrooms. Clean, sanitize, and restock units with required supplies. Collect garbage on assigned residential and/or commercial routes. Safely maneuver trucks and equipment at homes, businesses, and construction sites. Back trucks and trailers as needed. Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns. Follow DOT requirements, traffic laws, and company safety procedures. Provide friendly, professional service to our customers. Keep company vehicles and equipment clean and organized. What We're Looking For At least 21 years old Valid driver's license with a clean and acceptable driving record. Reliable transportation to and from work. Able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate when required. Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Dependable with a strong work ethic and good attendance. Comfortable working independently and staying on schedule. Able to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and changing weather conditions . Able to lift and move 75+ lbs. Able to regularly bend, stoop, squat, push, pull, climb, and perform repetitive physical work. Able to work beyond a standard 8-hour day when routes or workload require it. Experience driving trucks, pulling/backing trailers, waste collection, sanitation, delivery, construction, or similar outdoor work is a plus.
