More about our team Centerpoint Family Medicine on Boonesboro Road, formerly Clark Clinic Family Medicine, treats children & adults. We provide care for colds, flu and upper respiratory infections, diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol, ear, throat and sinus infections, annual exams and women's health. We also offer same day sick appointments. How you'll contribute A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role: Provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, as supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families. May administer medication. Documents patient care given Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Schedules appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider. Board of Health Professions Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. Knowledge of
ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT
codes, insurance benefits and healthcare background, preferred
