Eastridge Nursing & Rehabilitation is a person-centered, long-term care community located in Abbeville, Louisiana ( just a short drive from Lafayette). We are currently seeking an energetic and self-starting Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for our 6am to 6pm shift.
Summary:
We are actively seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our incredibly awesome, top notch, first class team! LPNs interact directly with our amazing residents, providing quality person-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Administers nursing services and assigns duties to Nursing Assistants and other designated personnel, assuring each resident's needs will be met during the assigned shift Provides report to Nursing Assistants Makes rounds of the assigned unit frequently during the shift, providing intervention as needed. Remains attune to the needs of the unit, while administering other nursing tasks during the entire shift Prepares and administers medications as ordered; Reorders medications as needed in preparation for future shifts; Assesses and documents medication issues as per policy Provides special procedures as ordered Performs any other tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN program.
