Hour Shifts Shifts:
6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
Pay :
Starting at $22.00 + based on experience (Pay Varies Per Shift) (Pay= Base Pay + Shift Diff)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Utilize nursing knowledge and skills in the safe implementation of basic preventative therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing care of the assigned patient as evidenced by documentation and observation of positive patient care outcomes.
  • Perform delegated independent nursing functions using facility procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards as observed by the Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Administer medication accurately, observe patient response, based on documentation in the medical record and lack of negative outcomes.
  • Maintain and coordinate communication among patient/significant other, staff, and physician as evidenced within medical record, resident and heath care team feedback.
  • Perform ongoing assessments of residents' physical and mental health.
  • Explain procedures and treatment protocols to residents.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid registration as an LPN in the state of practice.
  • Completion of relevant State Board of Nursing approved.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Work as a team member independently and responsibly.
  • Document/Record observations and activities.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to and communicate with the geriatric population.
