Part-time, Full-time Position:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Open Positions:
- Full Time or Part Time 6am-2pm
- Full Time 2pm-10pm
Pay:
Starting at $12.00 + based on experience (Pay Varies Per Shift) (Pay= Base Pay + Shift Diff)Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide personal hygiene for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by assisting with their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, eating, etc.
- Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight, and recording intake and output as directed in the care plan.
- Assist with transfer of residents to and from activities, meals, and other areas of the facility.
- Serve the facility community by adhering to professional standards, facility policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
- Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in a patient's behavior, emotional state, or physical condition.
- Implement individualized care plans and offer support to patients to maintain their dignity, privacy, and comfort.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean, tidy, and safe environment by reporting environmental deficiencies including equipment or lighting problems to the charge nurse.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
- Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) in accordance with laws of the state.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Work as a team member independently and responsibly.
- Excellent communication skills
- Document/Record observations and activities.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to and communicate with the geriatric population.
- Ability to assess data reflecting the resident's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each resident's requirements relative to their need.
