This is a great opportunity for an LPN looking for short, consistent daytime hours while making a difference in the lives of children and their families.

Responsibilities:
Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients Monitor patients and report changes in condition as appropriate Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and plans of care Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation Assist with activities of daily living and other patient-care needs as appropriate Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies Communicate effectively with the nursing team, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals Help maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for our pediatric patients
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Louisiana LPN license without restrictions Current CPR/BLS certification Have either 1 year or more of pediatric experience as an
LPN OR 2
years of documented prior pediatric experience as a direct care worker caring for medically fragile children. Previous experience in Pediatric Day Health Care (PDHC), home health, school nursing, or a similar pediatric setting Why Join PediaKare?
