Job Description
Assists physicians in performing nursing procedures for the comfort and well being of all patients. The population served includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. (all life spans). The LPN works with professional and non-professional employees of the hospital, physicians, patients, families, visitors, allied health professionals and may be required to interact with students and their instructors. Observes patient physiological, spiritual, and behavioral status. Performs delegated functions in compliance with hospital Policies & Procedures in an organized fashion to patients of all ages. Performs nursing functions in an organized fashion. Is accountable for maintaining and improving own nursing knowledge.
