The Licensed Practical Nurse is central to the daily clinical operation of the practice. Working under the direction of the supervising provider, the LPN prepares patients for their visits, performs screening and intake activities, supports medication management and laboratory monitoring, manages incoming clinical telephone traffic using the practice's triage protocols, and monitors patients throughout

Duties Room patients, obtain vitals, and complete medication reconciliation at every visit Monitor administration of Spravato and document in the eMAR; administration of oral medications as ordered by the provider on duty Coordinate lab orders, collection and preparation of drug screen/genetic test specimens, and track lab results Support our

® (esketamine) program: pre-dose vitals, treatment room setup, two-hour post-dose monitoring, and REMS documentation Manage clinical phone triage using our established protocols, escalating urgent and safety concerns immediately Process refill requests, prior authorizations, and appeals Coordinate referrals, follow-up calls, and post-hospitalization transitions Provide patient and family education on medications, side effects, and adherence when appropriate Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and full HIPAA compliance Experience Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Louisiana. Current BLS certification. Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a related mental health setting. Experience with monitored outpatient treatment program. Experience with telephone triage, prior authorizations, and pharmacy benefit navigation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for patient interactions. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Clinical judgment sufficient to recognize deterioration, adverse reactions, and safety risk, and to escalate without delay. Composure and therapeutic presence with patients experiencing anxiety, agitation, dissociation, or acute distress. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain clinical information in plain language. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, medication handling, and regulatory record-keeping. Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple concurrent responsibilities in a small-practice environment where roles overlap. Discretion, professionalism, and reliability in handling protected health information. Collaborative disposition and willingness to support colleagues across clinical and administrative functions.
