Highland Clinic is seeking a LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) for a clinic setting. Duties include but are not limited to: Fulfilling patient care responsibilities as assigned; Obtaining patient history and charts procedures for medical records; Remaining calm during resident interactions such as nursing Handling patient questions during visits and/or via phone, providing advice and resolving problems in consultation with the physician; Using and maintaining equipment and supplies appropriately; Maintaining patient and clinic confidentiality at all times; and Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must have a current Louisiana LPN license; Minimum of two years experience in medical office; Prior authorization experience; Ability to learn and retain information regarding patient care procedures; Ability to establish/maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians and staff by projecting a pleasant and professional image; Ability to use communication/listening skills and telephone techniques effectively; and Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks.
