Health Care Support Job Description The LVN role involves reviewing medical records and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The position assists with utilization review activities, including the assessment of authorizations, referrals, and medical necessity documentation. The role involves coordinating communication among physicians, nursing staff, case managers, ancillary departments, and external providers. Additionally, the role requires monitoring and tracking patient care plans, discharge planning activities, and follow-up requirements. Supporting quality improvement initiatives through data collection, documentation review, and reporting is a key aspect of this role. Maintaining accurate records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system and preparing correspondence, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders is also essential. The role requires adaptability and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and challenging environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oxnard, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
