Duration:

Per-diem Flexible Schedule:

Weekdays:

2-10 PM or 3-11 PM.

Fridays & Saturdays:

10 PM-6 AM or 2-10 PM. The age range for these students is 14yrs-21yrs old.

Job Duties:

The Health Services Nurse provides professional health care to students and coordinates continued health care with allied healthcare professionals. Applies appropriate theory from nursing and associated areas to meet and uphold the school's mission statement. Uses a systematic approach to problem-solving in nursing practice. Contributes to the education of students with and without special needs by continuous assessment of the student, planning and providing appropriate nursing care, and evaluating outcomes of care. Uses effective written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills. Maintains a comprehensive school health program as established by the Director of Health & Wellness. (
