Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care across various healthcare settings on an as-needed basis. This role offers flexibility for qualified professionals committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience, including critical care, long-term care, and specialized areas such as dementia and memory care. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will support patient assessments, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring while adhering to strict confidentiality and safety protocols. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories. Administer medications and injections accurately following physician orders and established protocols. Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or acute pain management needs. Assist with procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, tube feeding, and sterile dressing changes. Document all patient interactions and clinical activities in electronic health records (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support emergency situations through first aid, airway management, and basic life support (BLS) techniques. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure infection control practices are maintained consistently across all patient interactions. Work with diverse populations including pediatric, geriatric, neonatal, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Participate in discharge planning, case management activities, and client communication to optimize patient outcomes.
