Jobs › Beverly, MA › School LPN/LVN Amergis School LPN/LVN Beverly, MA Apply The School LPN/LVN identifies and treats health disorders among students in the school setting. The School LPN/LVN provides instruction for the student's general wellbeing and disease prevention. The School LPN/LVN monitors the student's physical conditions in the school setting and refer the student to appropriate resources as needed. The work of the School LPN/LVN is performed in compliance with his/her LPN/LVN scope of practice and according to state education codes.
Minimum Requirements:
Current nursing license for the state in which the nurse practices One year prior professional nursing experience in school setting preferred Pediatric experience preferred Considerable knowledge of medical disorders and treatment Considerable knowledge of child growth and development Knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services Understands the school organization and the community served Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs
