Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary therapy team, providing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves delivering evidence-based evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population, including adults and children. In the inpatient adult setting, the SLP will work closely with medical teams to assess and manage patients with acute or chronic conditions, including neurological events, neurodegenerative diseases, and respiratory and critical care cases involving mechanical ventilation. The SLP also manages patients with delirium or altered mental status, post-operative complications, and progressive conditions requiring supportive communication and swallowing interventions. In the outpatient setting, the SLP will provide individualized therapy services to both adults and pediatric clients. Pediatric care includes treating speech and language disorders, articulation disorders, and social communication difficulties. Adult outpatient care often involves continued recovery from neurological events or progressive disorders, as well as voice, fluency, or cognitive therapy. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, adaptability across patient populations, and a passion for collaborative, patient-centered care. The Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Department encompasses two acute care locations at Addison Gilbert and Beverly Hospitals, three outpatient clinics at Addison Gilbert Hospital, Woman's Health Building at Beverly Hospital, and Lahey Outpatient Center Danvers, and a Speech and Audiology clinic in the Parkhurst Building on Beverly Hospital's campus. Pay Range:

$40.04 - $56.07 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
