Key Qualifications:

Current valid Massachusetts LPN/LVN or CNA license Documented training in administration and adjustment of oxygen delivery systems Experience with oxygen delivery equipment, monitoring, and oxygen saturation assessment Solid background in clinical assessment, particularly cardiorespiratory physical examination CPR certification is required Previous experience working as a 1:1 medical aide, school nurse, or healthcare support in pediatrics is highly desirable

Core Responsibilities:

Provide continuous 1:1 medical support to a student throughout the school day Administer and adjust oxygen delivery, ensuring equipment is functioning properly Conduct ongoing assessment and documentation of the students hydration and oxygen saturation levels Remain vigilant for any changes in cardiorespiratory status, responding promptly and appropriately Work collaboratively with teachers and school personnel to support the students health and safety Maintain thorough, accurate records and communicate any concerns to appropriate school contacts This contract role offers the stability of a school-year schedule beginning in the upcoming academic year, with consistent weekday hours, and the opportunity to truly make a difference in a students life and educational access.
