Job Description
Triage Nurse/LPN/CNM for busy OB/Gyn office. Part-time and full-time positions available. Experience in OB/Gyn preferred. Job Description Part-time position, average of 3 days per week. Full-time position, average 4-5 days per week. Book appointments as appropriate for patient's signs and symptoms. Give advice as outlined in the triage guidelines and provider protocols. Initiate telephone encounters and route messages regarding patient's condition to the appropriate provider. Provide follow-up care as needed. Provide notification of test results and communicate treatment plans. Document conversation with patients and providers in the electronic medical record. Coordinate appointments at outside facilities as ordered by the provider. Room patients, document encounter, vital signs and nursing notes in EMR. Complete nurse visits according to department standard. Prescription refills/new orders.
