NOTE:
The nurse will support students with a variety of physical and/or mental health needs while maintaining a professional and safe health room environment.
Job Duties:
Maintain a professional and safe health room. Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions. Administer medications as required. Provide enteral feedings and chronic disease management. Provide routine nursing care to students. Provide first aid to injured students and staff. Document each instance of care provided to a student. Communicate health information to parents and guardians in a timely manner. (
