Baltimore, MD 21215Job Requirements
- Active Maryland LPN license or compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience required
- LTAC nursing experience preferred
- Behavioral health experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Comfortable floating within scope to like units and supporting diverse adult and geriatric patient populations
- Experience with Cerner and PointCare preferred
- Must be dependable and able to work scheduled holidays and weekend rotations as assignedResponsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adults and geriatric patients in LTAC and related float settings
- Support patients with complex medical, rehabilitation, respiratory, and behavioral health needs
- Perform routine nursing tasks such as vital sign monitoring, ADLs, feeding tube care, oxygen administration, blood glucose checks, and medication support within scope
- Assist with admissions, transfers, isolation precautions, and patient safety measures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, therapy, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response resources
- Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and staffing needs while maintaining excellent attendance and professionalism
