is actively seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for assignments at a Maryland State healthcare facility in Catonsville, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have strong medication-administration, patient-monitoring, documentation, communication, and behavioral-health nursing skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients receiving psychiatric and behavioral-health services. Administer prescribed medications and treatments and monitor patient response. Obtain and document vital signs and relevant clinical observations. Monitor changes in physical condition, mental status, behavior, and functioning. Assist with implementation of nursing and treatment plans. Provide therapeutic communication and behavioral support. Participate in crisis intervention and patient-safety procedures as appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Communicate changes in patient condition to the RN and interdisciplinary team. Follow infection-control, medication-safety, confidentiality, and facility policies. Complete required orientation and competency training.

Qualifications:

Current Maryland LPN license or authorization to practice in Maryland. Minimum one year of applicable clinical nursing experience. Current CPR certification. Psychiatric, behavioral-health, mental-health, substance-use, crisis-care, or inpatient nursing experience preferred. Must meet all required background, health, drug-screening, credentialing, and orientation requirements.

Compensation:

$37

• 38 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
