The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention. Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as needed. Participate in discharge planning and case management for patients transitioning from one level of care to another. Skills Candidates should possess a diverse set of skills that may include but are not limited to: Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems Experience in substance abuse treatment. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical documentation practices. Familiarity with procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, phlebotomy, and medication administration. Ability to provide specialized care for populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care. Strong assessment skills for evaluating patient conditions and implementing appropriate interventions. Experience with pain management techniques and acute pain management protocols. Competence in performing physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
