Shift & Weekend Differentials:

+$4.00/hour + 3rd

+$5.00/hour +

Position Summary for Licensed Practical Nurses ( LPN ) The LPN is a valued member of the nursing team responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with each resident's individualized care plan. This role supports residents in a designated care setting while promoting dignity, comfort, and safety. LPNs also provide clinical oversight, coordination of care, and guidance to nursing assistants as appropriate. Key Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurses ( LPN )
+ Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and clinical interventions
+ Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
+ Supervise and support CNAs in delivering daily care and ensuring quality standards are met
+ Observe, document, and report changes in residents' condition to appropriate team members
+ Promote residents' independence, preferences, and dignity while maintaining safety
+ Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, team members, residents, and families
+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
+ Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols
+ Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses ( LPN )
+ Active and in-good-standing LPN license in the State of Maine
+ Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, residents, families, and supervisors
+ Ability to exercise clinical judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality
+ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
+ Proficiency in spoken and written English
+ Basic computer skills
