Active LPN/LVN license in the state Previous experience in school settings or pediatric care preferred Demonstrated proficiency in tracheostomy care (trach experience required) Compassion, patience, and excellent communication abilities Capable of working independently while collaborating with teachers and staff CPR/BLS certification current and maintained

Responsibilities:

Provide consistent 1:1 care to an Early Childhood student throughout the school day Deliver specialized trach care and monitor respiratory status, ensuring safe and responsive support Follow individualized care plans and communicate regularly with district nursing leads and family members Assist with daily activities, mobility, nutrition, and personal hygiene as needed Promptly respond to any medical needs, emergencies, or changes in the students health status Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with guidelines Support the students participation in classroom routines and school activities This role offers part-time hoursjust four hours each day, Monday through Fridayallowing you to enjoy steady work while keeping afternoons free for your other interests or obligations.
