We are currently hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) as we prepare to begin providing services in the Greater Kalamazoo area on October 1, 2026 . This is a great opportunity to join our team as we build and grow our new Kalamazoo location. About Us Elders' Helpers is a locally and family-owned West Michigan home care agency with more than 25 years of experience helping older adults live safely and independently at home. Our nurses play an important role in supporting clients in their homes through medication management, care oversight, and other nursing services. Spanish-speaking nurses are especially encouraged to apply as we work to serve the diverse needs of the Kalamazoo community. Position Overview Registered Nurses (RNs): Provide medication management services, conduct supervisory visits, complete RN-specific assessments and responsibilities, and help oversee client care. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs): Primarily provide medication management services, helping clients safely manage their medications and maintain independence at home. Responsibilities Provide medication management services, including medication setup, review, and client education Conduct supervisory visits and other RN-specific services, when applicable Develop and maintain individualized care plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation of visits and services Communicate with clients, families, physicians, pharmacies, and care teams as needed Help identify changes in client needs and communicate concerns appropriately Provide dependable, compassionate nursing support in clients' homes Requirements Active RN or LPN license in the State of Michigan Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and current auto insurance Smartphone for communication and electronic visit documentation Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and committed to supporting older adults Home care or community-based nursing experience preferred, but not required Spanish-speaking skills highly valued Benefits Eligible employees may receive: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Travel time and mileage reimbursement Weekly pay with direct deposit Flexible scheduling options CareCrown Rewards Program for performance and client care excellence Paid training and continuing education opportunities Supportive, collaborative team environment Apply Today - Kalamazoo Hiring Now!
