Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for open positions in Kincheloe, MI Kinross Correctional Facility Split shift day/afternoon - Split 06:30a-3:00p/2:30p-11:00p $46.00/HR Rotating weekends
Paid Time Off Requirements:
Completion of a state-approved LPN program. Possession of state licensure as an LPN. Comprehensive background check due to the unique correctional environment. Mandatory certification in Basic Life Support.
Duties:
Thorough health assessments of inmates. Meticulous monitoring and documentation of health status changes. Precise administration of prescribed medications. Accurate dosage and comprehensive documentation. Swift response to medical emergencies. Immediate care provision until higher-level medical personnel arrive. Delivery of health education to inmates. Addressing preventive care and promoting healthy lifestyles. Seamless collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and healthcare professionals for coordinated care. Maintenance of precise and up-to-date medical records. Thorough documentation of all interactions and interventions Rigorous adherence to security protocols in the correctional facility. Ensuring safety while delivering healthcare services.
