Our multidisciplinary team of professionals are passionate about physical and mental health and are committed to guiding our clients down the difficult path to wellness. Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of addiction treatment and recovery processes, providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This role requires a commitment to patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate healing and recovery in a supportive environment. Duties Dispense addiction recovery medications such as Methadone, Suboxone and Vivitrol as per medical providers' orders. Collaborate with counselors and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Conduct physical assessments and work closely with the medical providers to provide high-quality medical care. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ICD-10 coding and HIPAA standards. Support clients and their families experiencing addiction with knowledgeable, compassionate care. Provide resources and support for family members to understand and assist in the recovery process. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in addiction medicine. Requirements A degree in nursing from an accredited program. A valid Michigan Nursing license (LPN). Ability to pass a background check. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to addiction treatment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. A genuine passion for helping individuals achieve recovery from addiction.
