Job Description
Company Overview Best Care Nursing Services provides comprehensive, in home, individualized care, support, and coordination to the brain and spinal cord injured clients we serve. Our staffing teams are trained to each client's unique needs, enjoy set schedules, and have direct access to nursing support. Summary We are seeking RN/LPN to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality one on one nursing care to clients. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to clients as per individualized care plans. Administer medications and monitor patient responses and provide physical assessment, and treatments. Perform vital sign assessments and document changes in patient conditions. Provide all required care for clients which can include; G tube feedings, ostomy/ catheter care, trach/ vent care, respiratory treatments, wound care. Transfer per physician orders. Assist with daily living activities and promote client independence. Collaborate with RN Care Managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Provide psychosocial support, encourages independence and client engagement. Follow all orders for care using standard nursing practices. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as required and follow all HIPAA requirements. Provide a clean and sanitary environment for client Support team goals and prioritizes careplan and best practices. Provide reliability to client and team Requirements Valid LPN/RN license in the state of Michigan. Prior experience is a plus, but we will consider new graduates with experience in health care. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction. Strong knowledge of patient care principles and nursing practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Compassionate approach towards catastrophic injuries clients. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
