About the
Position:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports primary care clinic operations by assisting with patient care, clinical coordination, and administrative tasks for patients across the age spectrum. This role involves direct patient interaction, technical clinical support, and accurate documentation. The position requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, patient-focused, and committed to providing high quality care and service.
What we are looking for:
Education and Experience:
Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Current Minnesota licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Three to six months of related experience and/or training. New Graduates and Current LPN/CMA students are encouraged to apply.

Riverwood Healthcare Center is a 25-bed Critical Access hospital with three full-service clinics in Aitkin, McGregor, and Garrison. Riverwood has recently expanded its footprint in Aitkin with a state-of-the-art surgical center. Just two hours from the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro, this is an opportunity to live and work where others play in the heart of Minnesota's Northwoods and beautiful lakes country. Enjoy access to an abundance of natural wonders, including lakes, rivers and streams, state parks, wildlife refuges, and ATV and bike trails for all your outdoor recreational activities. Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (variable) + Saturday rotation 2-3 times every 6 months FTE 1.0 (80 hours PPP)
