Non-Exempt Essential Functions Maintain student health records; document and track student immunizations; maintain records and track daily medication; maintain weekly counts for controlled substances; compile and complete state reports. Monitor special needs to students; monitor and follow-up on student's attendance and health conditions with parents/guardians; schedule and participate in student screening clinics; enter data of student health office visits; process and complete student accident reports during school hours; organize Have A Heart Fund Drive and track requests. Administer medication or procedures as requested/delegated by School Nurse; administer first aid to ill or injured students; refer students to appropriate resource individuals (parent, guidance officer, teacher, social worker) when necessary. Maintain communication between School Nurse, Principal, parents, case managers and staff regarding student health issues. Attend meetings and in-service training as required. Education and Experience Associates/Technical degree and moderate experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. LPN or RN required
CPR and First Aid Compensation:
$25.20 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
