Summary Deliver direct nursing care to assigned patients, ensuring compassionate and high-quality support. Assist in assessing the needs of patients and their families, contributing to comprehensive care plans. Engage in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, adapting to individual patient needs. Effectively communicate patient care information and status updates to the RN/Charge Nurse. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff. Department The CentraCare Benson Hospital is a 21-bed critical access hospital with an attached rural health clinic. A clinic and hospital addition/renovation project was completed in the fall of 2013. Our group of family physicians, nurse practitioners and visiting specialists work together to provide a wide range of medical services for Benson and the surrounding area.
