None Position Overview Seeking a Medical Assistant (CMA) to support providers and patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The Medical Assistant will help manage patient flow while performing both clinical and administrative duties. Candidates with strong patient-care skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with providers and clinic leadership are encouraged to apply. LPNs are also being considered for this position. Key Responsibilities Manage patient flow throughout the clinic. Perform standard patient rooming and intake processes. Obtain and document vital signs and patient information. Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed by providers. Collect and process laboratory specimens. Perform phlebotomy duties as required. Perform clinic laboratory testing. Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between patients and providers. Assist with prescription refill requests. Provide front-desk/check-in support when needed. Assist with prior authorizations. Order and maintain clinical supplies. Perform X-ray duties when appropriately qualified and certified. Communicate patient concerns, questions, and progress to the healthcare team. Follow applicable scope-of-practice requirements and clinic policies. Provide compassionate, collaborative care to patients across a variety of age groups. Patient Population The clinic serves patients across the lifespan, including: Infants Children Adolescents Adults Geriatric patients CMA Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program recognized by ABHES, CAAHEP, or another recognized accrediting organization. Alternatively, graduate of an accredited RMA program with required on-the-job experience and successful RMA certification. Current BLS certification required. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with providers, nurses, patients, and clinic leadership. LPN Requirements LPN candidates must have: Active Minnesota Practical Nurse (PN/LPN) license at the time of submission. Current BLS certification . Strong patient-care and clinical skills.
Compensation CMA:
$22.23 - $27.37/hour, based on years of experience.
LPN:
$24.50 - $32.77/hour.
