Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working primarily day shifts and should be flexible to work occasional extended shifts when overtime opportunities are available.

Primarily 5x8-hour shifts

Guaranteed Hours:

40 hours per week Requirements Active LPN/LVN license appropriate for practice in Minnesota Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills Ability to work independently and manage a consistent patient assignment Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to collaborate with nurses, providers, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members Flexibility to accommodate additional shifts when needed Commitment to resident safety, dignity, and quality of care Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment. Perform nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in health status. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols. Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses. Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity. Provide wound care, dressing changes, and other skilled nursing interventions within LPN scope of practice. Recognize and promptly report changes in resident condition to the appropriate healthcare provider. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, registered nurses, and interdisciplinary team members. Follow infection prevention, medication safety, and resident safety protocols. Participate in care planning and provide patient and family education. Respond appropriately to urgent and changing resident needs. Support a compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care environment. Maintain flexibility with scheduling and accept additional shifts when available and appropriate.

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
