77/hour, based on experience Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a busy outpatient clinic in New Hope/Brooklyn Center, MN . This position plays an important role in ensuring smooth patient flow while providing high-quality clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, dependable, and comfortable working with patients across a variety of age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Key ResponsibilitiesMedical Assistant As a Medical Assistant, you will: Assist healthcare providers with patient care and treatment. Manage and support patient flow throughout the clinic. Complete standard patient rooming and intake processes. Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed by providers. Collect laboratory specimens as needed. Provide telephone and patient support. Facilitate communication between patients and providers. Assist with prescription refill requests. Perform phlebotomy duties, as applicable. Perform clinic laboratory testing. Provide front desk and check-in support when needed. Order and maintain clinical supplies. Assist with prior authorization activities. Perform X-ray duties when qualified and appropriately certified. Communicate patient concerns, questions, and changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare team members. Collaborate with clinic leadership and providers to support patient care and department goals. LPN Opportunities Qualified LPNs are also encouraged to apply. LPN responsibilities will be performed within the scope of the applicable Minnesota nursing license and organizational requirements. - 8:30 PM Medical Assistant Requirements Candidates must meet all of the following requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program accredited by a recognized accrediting organization, such as ABHES or CAAHEP ; OR Graduate of a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) program accredited by a national health services organization, such as American Medical Technologists (AMT) , with relevant on-the-job experience and successful completion of the RMA certification examination.
