Elementary/Secondary Position Summary:

Performs difficult professional work to identify, remove and remediate health related barriers to learning and to ensure the health and safety of students and staff, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the building principal and the Director of Student Services or program coordinator and Director of Community Services and Recreation. Programming oversight is exercised over Nurse-Paraprofessional and Health Assistant. Education and/or

Experience:

Bachelor's degree and minimal experience in community/public health, emergency or pediatric nursing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Requirements:

Registered Nurse License and Public Health certificate (MN Board of Nursing) Minnesota CPR/AED/First Aid Certification School Nurse License Bloodborne pathogen training Medication Administration Training PCA supervision (Preferred)
