Reviewing medications and medical histories. Assisting physicians during patient visits. Responding to patient phone calls and addressing clinical concerns. Processing medication refill requests for non-dialysis patients. Educating patients on physician recommendations and treatment plans. Coordinating hospital admissions, diagnostic testing, and prior authorizations. Maintaining accurate electronic medical records. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to provide outstanding patient care.
