This is a great opportunity for an LPN looking for something different from the traditional hospital or long-term care environment. Correctional healthcare allows nurses to use a wide range of clinical skills while providing essential healthcare to an underserved patient population in a safe, secure, and structured setting. Position Highlights Full-Time 12-hour shifts Rotating weekends New grads welcome Vaccines are not mandatory Supportive clinical team Diverse patient population and broad nursing experience Structured and secure work environment Position Responsibilities The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care based on individual patient needs and established clinical standards under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring and documenting patient conditions, assisting with chronic and acute healthcare needs, communicating changes in patient status to the appropriate provider, and collaborating with the facility's healthcare team. Qualifications Valid, unrestricted LPN license Current CPR certification Ability to successfully complete a thorough background investigation Strong communication and patient-care skills Correctional healthcare experience is not required New graduates are encouraged to apply Why TK Health?
